Traditional style ryokan with the nicest and most hospitable hosts. Every member of staff at chousenkaku was extremely helpful and kind, going out of their way to accommodate any requests. The location is excellent, a short 10 minute walk to the station and 5 minutes to a convenience store if needed. The food was spectacular - we were delighted with our choice to stay here. The building has a rich history too, for which information can be found in the lobby and by speaking to the staff. The private onsen is reasonably priced and well appointed with amenities, water etc.

Great breakfast. The location is incredible. They had a bike rental service, which allowed me to explore more of the area. The staff was very helpful and took the time to explain what I needed to know.
