Probably the best apartment this summer on our trip through Italy. There are some free parking places on the street nearby. The housekeeping lady was flexible in timing and waited for us in the evening even if we were late, because of traveling with small kids.

There was very quick communication, the apartment was immaculately cleaned, tea and coffee provided with breakfast snacks (so appreciated!), and Emanuele and Sabrina were the most gracious hosts. Each room had doors you could open for breeze and they all had screens, something I have never seen before in Italy and were very much appreciated. It was a straight 15 minute walk to the train and funicular station; the COOP grocery store is 5 minutes in the other direction. The bed and pillows are very typical of Italy, a little harder than Americans are used to but it didn’t affect my sleep at all. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and implements for cooking. There is a high chair and crib for those with babies. Loved it!!!

The place has been recently open. Every detail has been deeply studied and the result is an excellent experience. Really a special place! Also the breakfast was excellent with option gluten free. The personnel is exceptionally gentle, the perception is that they are proud of working there, which is a clear signal of the attention paid to the wellbeing starting from the staff.

Dimora Pertusa is an elegant, beautiful, recently renovate apartment in a very quiet area of Orvieto. The apartment was exceptionally well appointed with anything you might need for your stay or for cooking a meal in. The apartment also had access to a beautiful and charming court yard garden. The owner, Laura, met us at the apartment shortly after our arrival and was charming and gracious and gave us a great orientation to the apartment and to Orvieto. The apartment was very quiet, the beds and linens were very comfortable and our stay was exceptionally enjoyable. Thank you, Laura, for making our stay so memorable - you have a charming apartment and we would certainly stay again should we back in Orvieto!!

It was clean and comfortable and just a short walk to the central Duomo area. There was lots of space for us and lots of helpful guide books there. We loved it. Our host was a lovely, kind lady and accommodating when we needed to leave our bags. And so interesting to read about its history as a church.
