Without realizing it while booking we ended up in 'the fancy room' (according to the staff, but we agree). Very nice view of the coast and the glacier. Top breakfast and top buffet-style dinner (for a correct price). All home-cooked with local ingredients, which we really appreciated (some of the best food we had in Iceland). We saw the chef cleaning and filleting (big!) fish in front of the hotel, which was quite an experience. Very warmly recommended! p.s. The Snaefellsnes peninsula is so beautiful. It was definitely one of the highlights of our tour of Iceland, not to be missed!

Spacious, clean and the host is helpful. There’s a big window inside the room which is great. The house gives you a vibe of lonely planet lol. Love here We didn’t have enough hot shower for 8 people but I guess that’s one of our members taking too much hot water away. Host answered me pretty fast, and send lovely parent here to check. Huge and impressively clean apartment in a beautiful open nature! Love waking up to seeing nature and horses in faraway. Very well designed room with a good size and well equipped kitchenette. ! And that toilet need a mention with its well thought placement of rain shower head. Even the floor tiles are heated. Such a comfortable 3 nights stay in this lovely apartment. I couldn’t recommend more for anyone who’s heading nearby to stay there!

Perfect little cottage. Literally nothing bad to be mentioned about it. Confy, well maintaned, warm and well insulated despite the heavy winds we had during our stay. A lot of large windows (we saw a small stretch of the aurora right front the bed) and the kitchen has everything one would need for cooking a nice dinner. We even stopped near their farm and saw the beautiful horses they have, there was one nice guy who let us in for a couple of mins. Definitely recommend. It is not cheap but well… what’s cheap in Iceland? The price is fair anyway.

This was a beautifully decorated and fully equipped 4 bedroom, 2 full bath house surrounded by beautiful countryside, mountains and horse farms. Very peaceful and good location for exploring peninsula. We loved having space to spread out. Hosts were great.

The cottage was in a beautiful place. We had a lovely welcome from the host at the hotel. The cottage is small but very cosy with everything you need. Heating was excellent and we appreciated having a washing machine having been travelling for 3 weeks.
