The hotel is on a farm, the reception and the restaurant are by the gates and then The rooms are in two buildings. There is also a museum attached to the restaurant (free of charge). The staff were very good, the rooms were new, well maintained and spacious. Every building has a coffee machine where you can get coffee and tea 24 hours a day for free. We had dinner twice the food was very good and locally sourced. Also the breakfast buffet was good and had lots of options. The glacier is a 15 min drive.

It was exceptional. The view was stunning, the bed was extremely comfy, the room was clean, check in was smooth. Waking up to the view was refreshing, the interior design looks great as well. Enjoyed every second there.

The guesthouse had a amazing view out to the fields and the ocean. It was a great northern lights viewing spot as well - we caught a geomagnetic storm when we arrived and it was beautiful! The stay was comfortable especially for the price. I loved that the building that our room was at had a small living room to chill at, it was comfortable and had a great view :) Free parking and affordable breakfast too!

Yes, we love this place very much though it may not near to central, no impact for us since we are driving and easy to locate the property. Beautifull place, in the green under a waterfall and near a little steam. The little houses are perfect, they make you feel at home. The staff is smiling, gentle and very helpfull. Good breakfast and nice view of the Icelandic landscape.
