My companion and I had a lovely stay at Oakdale templemore. Tony, our host is helpful, attentive and charming. Having the possibility to use the kitchen is a real plus, and the offered tea and coffee were a nice gesture. The guesthouse is super clean, and the beds were comfortable. We hope to return.

It’s a great B& B ..Gary and his wife (forgotten her name ) made me incredibly welcome. I had room No 2 which was perfect for my needs …a lovely double bed (also a single in there) great little bathroom . Good water pressure for the shower . I’ll definitely be staying here again

Everything - the most hospitable place we've ever been to in months of travelling. It's a little way out but that was actually great for us because we had to go to places in all directions.

The facility was self catering, with a gas stove, microwave and refrigerator. Gas water and heater ensured a comfy unit at all times. The area was central to most major Irish towns/cities. Within driving distance of Dublin, Cork, Waterdale, Limmerick, Galway,and Killarney which made it excellent for many day trips. Just a short drive to Cashel which hosts the Cashel Rock, a monumental medieval cathedral of National significance.

Breakfast was fantastic and the brown bread divine. The host was so attentive and accommodating in every single way. She was observant enough to know what I liked and didn't like and offered me alternative choices such as mushroom instead of black pudding. I really would recommend Hawthorn View B and B highly.

The location is beautiful and peaceful. When you wake up you can only hear the birds and the distant mooing of the cows. Padraic is very friendly and helpful provided us with lots of usefull information. The house is clean, cozy with spacious rooms and provided us with everything we needed. We would definitely like to return.
