It is close to the village of Culdaff and Ballyliffin Golf course is only a few miles away. The "Famine Village" at Ballylifin is also well worth a visit and we were surprised at how interesting and good value it was. Lovely view of the Atlantic Ocean across a few meadows. Secluded and quiet location, not isolated thought, neighbours adjacent. Car is essential , spectacular beaches close by. Good sized town for shopping about 14 km away. Next village shop and pub about 3 km. Note that heating and electricity work with meters, initial amount of money is supplied, have coins available thereafter. Good shower facilities. Ceecliff House was a real home from home. We couldn't have asked any more of our hosts. We arrived latish on a Sunday evening and could only get a take away in the village. Mickey immediately sorted us out with plates and cutlery in the breakfast room. It was DEAD ON!!! In the mornings we had delicious cooked breakfasts plus cereals and fruit.
