Our stay at Opartment by Far East was absolutely wonderful! Traveling with young children can be challenging, but this accommodation made our experience so much smoother and more enjoyable. They accommodated to 2 extra rooms at very last minute notice because our previous accommodation was horrendous. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The fully-equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for the kids, and the daily cleaning service ensured we could relax after a busy day exploring. The location was unbeatable—close to key attractions like Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the Bund, and People’s Square. Everything we needed was within walking distance, including family-friendly restaurants and a convenience store a few steps away from the hotel A special mention to the staff who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their kindness and attention to detail, from helping with luggage to providing local tips, truly set this property apart. We can’t recommend Opartment enough for families or anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and well-located place to stay in Shanghai. Thank you for making our trip so memorable—we’ll definitely return!

The apartment is bright and spacious, conveniently located near Jing'an Temple, which is a perfect location to reach all the main attraction in Shanghai. The fact that there were a washing machine and dryer allowed me to take less clothes and have more space in my luggage for souvenirs. The apartment is located in a residential area and I loved that I was staying among locals, no tourists there. It gave me the chance to witness the locals everyday life and that is extra point for me! The mattress is quite firm, and I'm usually not used to that, but I slept like a baby every night. Lily was so kind and communication with her was perfect since the very beginning, she gave me a lot of tips and suggestions and I felt really looked after. I highly recommend this solution for your trip to Shanghai, I would definitely book again if going back to Shanghai. Just be aware that the apartment is on the 5th floor with no lift, but I knew that beforehand and for me it was not at issue.

The owners are amazing and lovely people. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet with everything you might need at hand + a lovely little bistro that serves an amazing food. The appartment is perfect, spacious and very clean. Thank God for the aircon! The accomodation has everything you could think of. Great view from the balcony! I have travelled a lot all over Europe and this is by far one of the best appartments I ever stayed in.

Super location for anyone who wants to be in the French Concession. It's a 3 minute walk from Anfu Lu. The staff in the hotel and the very good Italian restaurant downstairs were all so lovely, friendly, helpful, warmhearted that my days of coming and going to and from Shanghai and staying with them at intervals were a joy! And from a very practical point of view, the washing machine in my bathroom was a very nice surprise! And the staff really went to trouble to make sure that guests had something they loved for breakfast. Big thanks to Xiao Zu (spelling?!), Aiyi, Guido, Monica, David and everyone who made my stay there so lovely!
