Everything!! The guesthouse is totally new so the bedroom was spotless! Nice balcony, nice bed and all super clean. The owner and his family are very welcoming and that made our trip to Mestia super nice! On top of this the breakfast is delicious, every day you get something different. The homemade jam was out of this world! We hope to come back and we will for sure recommend to stay here to anybody that comes to Georgia. Thanks for letting me try your special wine and thanks for the cook, she is great!!! Hopefully see you very soon!

Guesthouse Mari is so special. I was able to check in early and when I was shown to my room I was blown away - a beautiful view of the river which was so relaxing to listen to at night. The room was comfortable and perfectly located at the end of the city, right next to a fabulous restaurant, shops nearby and the cinema across the street which is definitely worth a visit. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

The river Svaneti was the great place to start our hike from Mestia to Ushguli. We definitely recommend it. It is cosy and clean. The owner is very nice, he took us by car to the shop, because the place is in the calmer place little bit further from the centre, but OK to walk. The breakfast were amazing too. Great location close to the bus station, atms, bakery, supermarkets, and the start of the Mestia to Ushguli trek. A perfectly centralised location. Host was very friendly, kind and helpful. She let us keep luggage during the hike, and tried to help us in many ways. The kitchen is well equipped. Bobby is the wonderfully fun resident dog and is very sweet. We didn't try the food but saw the breakfast and it looked very good.
