Our group of friends had an absolutely fantastic stay at this guesthouse! The location was truly amazing – it provided the perfect base for exploring the area and offered a wonderful atmosphere. What really made our experience special was the incredibly lovely hostess. She was so welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. Her kindness truly made us feel at home. As a bonus for animal lovers, we also really enjoyed the company of the guesthouse's dogs. They were so sweet and friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to our stay. We found everything about Iris B&B exceptional, our host Irina was very helpful, and the food she cooked for us the best we have ever had at a B&B. The location is ideal for visiting the many attractions in the area, and as cat lovers the friendly outdoor cats around the property were a bonus. We have many fond memories of our stay here.

Clean and quiet place to stay, public kitchen have a washing machine is a huge advantage for travellers, breakfast's great, located close to sanahin monastery, and the starting point of the trek to haghpat. Highly recommend.

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Alaverdi, Hayk B&B (in Sanahin) is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

Amazing place to stay. The guesthouse is next to the family home of the hosts. The family is very welcoming, friendly and open to give advice on what to do in the area. English is not a problem. They brought fresh and tasty breakfast to us every morning and there is an optional cooked dinner. Comfy beds, kitchen and seating area. The Migoyan museum and Sanahin monastery are next door and the start to some wonderful hikes are nearby. There is a small shop next door. You can also watch the piglets in the neighbour's barn while drinking your morning coffee.

I arrived late so the family offered me to make an very tasty dinner for me. The owner also offered me to do a little hike in the morning to get a good view of Sanahin and a visit to the monastery which we had for ourselves. I really felt at home at the house and the family was very welcoming.

Definitely the best guest house we've stayed in in Armenia. You can relax in peace and quiet. The breakfast is very good. I recommend it.

If you want authentic local contact, a very nice stay! Very sympathic host, who can make you diner using their own garden harvest. Very affordable price to. Small village, still we had a hard time finding the accommodation. Highly recommended.
