Tropical Hostel dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, restaurante y bar en Ko Phayam. El hostal o pensión está a unos 2 min a pie de Aow Yai Beach y a 1,7 km de Koh Payam. Nos quedamos 4 días en las tiendas de campaña. Un sitio realmente agradable. Baños compartidos pero con mucha privacidad, y muy limpios, siempre con todo el equipamiento disponible. Las tiendas están ubicadas en una zona tranquila, que da a la parte de atrás de la carretera, por lo que no hay mucho ruido por las noches (a pesar de estar el bar del hostel al lado). Colchones cómodos, estancia limpia, ventilador (para nosotras era suficiente porque pasábamos el día fuera y por las noches refrescaba un poco). La dueña es muy amable y te ayuda en todo lo que puede. Alquiler de motos posible en el alojamiento. En el restaurante del hostel no comimos ningún día, pero si estuvimos tomando algo, es un espacio diáfano abierto muy agradable, con mesas y sofás para sentarse, con una energía muy buena. También hay agua gratis a disposición de los clientes.

El Mama's bungalows Koh Chang es un complejo situado en Ko Chang, frente al mar. Este complejo alberga un restaurante que sirve platos tailandeses y occidentales. Koh Payam está a 11 km. Mamas bungalows are located in a beautiful small bay with only wild rainforest to one wide. From our balcony we spotted monkeys and lots of birds. Mama and her staff were all very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. In general there was a "home away from home" atmosphere and I understand why many of the other guests had come back for the last many years, ways staying at least a month. You can choose to be private and do your own thing, but if you fancy a chat, the other guests and Mama are there for that! Koh chang is a special island that I would come back to, and even though many of the other guesthouses also looked nice, mamas is special because of the friendly and home-like vibe.
