Henry and Mariluz provided exceptional hospitality and service, and the delicious meals were definitely a highlight. They were very accommodating and helped with all my transportation and other needs. The room was fantastic, featuring hot water, clean towels, comfortable mattresses, and cozy duvets that were perfect for the cold. The view was incredible, and I experienced the best starry sky of my life. All these elements combined made my stay at their lodge a dream, offering both comfort and warmth on the island. After almost two months of traveling in Peru, this may be our favorite place to have stayed. We booked the room with a view over the lake, and it was beautiful to wake up to. We enjoyed all of our meals and were taken great care of. The bed is super comfortable as well!

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. I absolutely adored my short stay here. We had a warm, very comfortable studio with a part glass roof and one glass wall leading onto the terrace on the shore of Titicaca. Needless to say the view was incredible and the night stars and moon just beautiful. The studio has a great bathroom with a bath and lots of hot water and shampoo and conditioner which we were not carrying so it was greatly appreciated. The desk are just inside the window could be separated from the bedroom area by curtains thus allowing for different sleeping rhythms. The evening meal was delicious and above local standard. The family were so friendly and welcoming and we loved dressing up in local costume with Hope and Emma the young daughters and going for a short walk with them and Nick, the dog.

We arrived at night due to a long day of travel, and experienced a night sail on the lake to reach the hotel. It was only the next morning at first sunlight that we could discover how beautiful the surroundings are. The hotel is on a floating island (part of the Uros isles) and it does wobble a bit when boats pass by :-) The nature, the quiet, the views are exceptional. And so are the facilities : comfy bed, very clean compost toilet, shower. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Eduardo also took us to a nearby island for a short introductory course on floating island building. We also met some locals thanks to him. We would love to stay here again.

Activities such as cycling, hiking, walking tours can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. Alberto homestay taypi qamaña establo features an outdoor fireplace and a children's playground. Alberto is a great host and make sure you have everything you need. Bed was very comfortable, and it’s quiet at night, great to rest.
