We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

The accommodation provides a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. If you never been to Kalpitiya, it has a sense of being on the outskirts of civilization. Here you stay nestled among the houses of the locals and share the beach with its fishermen. Beside great kite- and windsurfing (and endless beaches of course), there is not a ton of things to do in Kalpitiya. Scuba diving is good, when there is visibility. Dolphin watching is also a possible activity, but quite an expensive one that last a couple of hours. You won’t find any city center with shops, bars and restaurants near, but you can of course visit other resorts and use their facilities. However you should know that you have a very good restaurant on site if you stay at the Sea Sand Resort! This establishment is made up of about 10 small bungalows with a restaurant. The bungalows are quite basic, but very clean and comfortable and represents good value for money. Within about 10 minutes or more on foot, you can reach surf schools and beaches. From my own experience I can promise that you will be very well taken care off if you chose to stay at Sea Sand Resort.

The outside bathroom was special The restaurant is located at the beach and serve a really good food for a razonable price. The beach is fantastic. I’m in love of this place

SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.

Sandy Edge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kalpitiya, 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Owner and staff was very kind end helpful. Houses were fresh and clean, beds with mosquito nets. It was nice and comfortable to stay there. 5/5 breakfast was very tasty and there was gluten free option for me:) highly recommend this place

Anawasal offers lagoon front accommodation and yoga classes in Kalpitiya. Free private parking is available on site. It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. We liked Anawasal a lot. Unique place next to sea offering really nice accomodation and great service. You can just take it easy and relax.

Every day they cooked the best home cooked meals for us and the food was SO delicious! We booked the safari with Priyashntha and he was the best guide ever! The villa was in the middle of nature and very close to the entrance of the national park. There were only two jeeps at the entrance when we arrived and we were able to watch the animals completely alone by ourselves, without any crowds. It was such a magical experience. Thank you Wild Wadi Wilpattu team for being such amazing hosts!
