Beach Hotels in Feridhoo

Our stay in Feridhoo was truly special, and a big part of that was thanks to Amjad and the team at AYIRA. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome, picking us up from the public ferry and taking the time to give us a tour of the island. He shared great advice on the best times for snorkeling, which helped us make the most of our time in the water. On our last day, even though we had an early morning transfer to another island, Amjad was up at 7:30 to drop us off and even made sure we had breakfast before leaving. It’s those little thoughtful gestures that really stood out and made our stay feel so personal. Feridhoo itself is a peaceful paradise, but what made it truly unforgettable was the warmth of the people. We’re so grateful for the experience and would love to return one day!

🌴 Review of the Maldives! 🌊🐠✈️🌍 I want to share with you my impressions of my holiday in the Maldives. I chose a small island with locals and several cozy hotels, and I can say that it was just unforgettable! That's why: 🌞 Climate: The weather was just perfect! Windy and not too hot, especially when compared to Dubai. My skin enjoyed a light breeze and the water temperature was just perfect for swimming. 💦 Water color: Words can't describe how beautiful the colors of the local water are! This is something incredible and indescribable. I always wanted to swim in this wonderful ocean. 🐠 Underwater World: It's amazing that even without going far from the shore with a mask and snorkel, you find yourself in a real aquarium. I personally saw more than 15 species of fish! I was especially struck by stingrays and small sharks. And I also saw a fish with what seemed to be puffed up lips. It was an amazing sight! 🌅 Sunsets: Simply gorgeous! When I sat and watched them, I just wanted to silently enjoy this incredible spectacle or listen to my favorite electronic music. Sunsets in the Maldives are a real fairy tale! 😊 Locals: The people living on the island were very nice and kind. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. I felt at home there. Their kindness and openness added a special atmosphere to my holiday. Sounds of the surf and waves 🌊These sounds created the perfect background accompaniment for relaxation and rest. I spent a lot of time just listening to the ocean, enjoying its music and sinking into a state of deep relaxation. 🌏 Future trips: I definitely remember this unforgettable mini-vacation in the Maldives and I definitely want to visit other islands in the future. Especially since they are so close to Dubai. I'm looking forward to new adventures! 🏝️ My recommendation: If you want an unforgettable vacation full of beauty and peace, then the Maldives is the place to visit. Trust me, you won't regret it!✈️🌍

All the staff are really kind and helpful. The food there is a delight, worth to try their dinner also, they made delicious maldivian food. The room is nice and cozy, always clean. Everything is close in this island. If you like nightlife this Ferdhoo is not a place for you, but if you like nature, nice beaches, friendly people, than the only problem is that you have to go home one day.

Ideal accommodation option. A clean and comfortable room that has everything you need: a comfortable bed, ample storage space, a refrigerator and even a safe. Nice bathroom. The room was cleaned immediately after our request. The nearest exit to the sea is just 2 minutes on foot. The hotel has its own sun loungers on the bikini beach, and they also provide beach towels. Ali and his family were very hospitable and always helped with any questions. From the hotel owner we learned a lot of important and interesting information about the culture and traditions of the locals, we even talked about politics :) Before we left, Ali prepared a free amazing traditional Maldivian dinner for us, it was amazing! The hotel also has very tasty local breakfasts; we ate only them during our stay. Thanks to Ali and his family, we will definitely return to Feridhoo!

Extremely friendly stuff!!! Nice room. They enter and clean daily. Superb buffet breakfast. Comfy room and facilities. They even made me a favor of bringing me take-away breakfast to the ferry departure point as it was quite early for the normal schedule! Thanks!! And the island is quite local and great to visit 😃

This guesthouse meets every need a guest could wish for, making it the perfect place to relax. The sandy beaches as well as the center of Mathiveri (market, fantastic bakery etc.) are just a short walk from Velana Vibes. The place is new, clean and well cared for. The design is thoughtful - functional, but also ensuring privacy for guests. But what makes Velana Vibes truly special... are the people. Munzir, the owner, is the soul of the place and Imma, the manager, is its heart. We have never met such a sincere and genuinely warm team. That includes the friendly owner, the incredibly dedicated manager and the always-helpful kitchen staff. They all put their whole hearts into making our stay special and unforgettable - and they succeeded! They were always there if we had questions. They organized everything - whether it was a golf cart tour of the island, snorkeling, fishing, fish barbecues or filming us on jet ski with a drone - and made our holidays even more enjoyable. Personally, I would like to give special thanks to Imma for the private snorkeling lesson :-) I can’t swim, but he offered to help me so that I also could see the underwater world - and he kept his promise. Even though the weather wasn’t perfect, he took me and my family to a calm beach where we snorkeled together. I will never forget the experience of my very first snorkel, where I felt completely safe the whole time! At Velana Vibes, we enjoyed the comfort of a good hotel, but among the team, we felt at home - surrounded by people who genuinely wanted the best for us. Everyone made sure our stay in this wonderful place was unique and unforgettable. Although we usually don’t return to the same place twice, we truly hope to come back to Velana Vibes someday. Because even though we visited Mathiveri during the rainy season - with you the sun was always shining! :)

I came on a solo trip to the Maldives and stayed 4 days in Bougan Villea retreat. I felt so welcome and taken care of throughout. The inn is new so everything is clean and in great condition. The local beach is currently under reclamation but the bikini beach is just a 3 minute walk away. The beach there is beautiful with a truly amazing house reef. I snorkelled there about 8 times in the 4 days and I saw pufferfish, squid/calamari, sharks, and even caught glimpse of a manta coming to the reef. A special thanks to Anwar from the resort, who personally brought me snorkelling to show me the good spots. He also brought me to see the night feeding of nurse sharks, and took me on a motorcycle ride around the island on my last night. As a guests, I was able to borrow snorkel equipment for free, as well as the stand up paddleboard. The highlight of my trip was paying to go out to swim with the Manta Rays, an experience I will never forget. They were huge and majestic, and it was just magical. Although the island is not big, I’m thankful for the 4 days at this lovely place.

Beautiful hotel at the beach on a calm local island. Staff are incredible nice and there is variety of tours available, so there is no chance to get bored. Snorkeling with mantas, turtles, fishing...you can do anything. SUP rental was available too and it was great to paddle around. Akeyz is very attentive and ready to help. There is a roof top restaurant and they also serve delicious coffee. Thank you for beautiful memories :-)
