Amazing! If you are looking to get away from it all in a spa-like setting, this is paradise. A beautiful setting - we stayed in a tree house - amazing rustic with showers and plumbing and everything - super private and great for romantic get away. Beautiful bay to swim and kayak in. Private island off shore you can go to for snorkeling (we actually kayaked there - about 4 or 5km kayak - don't recommend kayaking unless superior swimmer and paddler - take 5 minute boat ride instead) several turtles, nice coral. Food and staff of resort were insanely great. Had the best massage I've ever had overlooking the ocean. 45 min from airport - road a little rough at the end or would be much quicker but taxi driver turned it into adventure, stopping for fruit, chameleons, and ylang ylang. Yvonne and Loris took complete care of us - thank you. Had taxi waiting for us at airport, Loris was like our own private butler - he even organized excursions for us after our stay. Overall, beautiful place to get away from the crazy world and relax in paradise. Forgot to mention the friendly, smiling faces of beautiful children that wave and greet you as you walk down the beach - wonderful culture.

Incredible boutique hotel. Welcoming drinks, big and clean rooms, good wifi, friendly staff and amazing views. Aircon, swimming pool, good breakfast and ocean views, everything in one beautiful place. Massage also great, cheap ($50.000 ar for 1hr) and you can hear the waves as background. The beach is clean and almost no one which is kind of a private beach. The owner very kind modify some things in the menu to make it vegetarian for us, really smiley and cool guy. Highly recommended this place!

The property is absolutely stunning - big bungalow rooms amidst palm trees, with a spa centered in a peaceful little lake. Gorgeous pool and lovely restaurant. Quiet little pathways everywhere covered in greenery. Stunning!

Our stay at Anjiamarango was extraordinary due to the warm and great hospitality we experienced from the owner Philippe. We had a problem with our flight and he helped us fixing it spending hours on daily basis on it. We never experienced such kindness from a hotelier before anywhere on earth. Without his help we would have been stuck on the island. Besides that, the bungalows give you the chance to experience a traditional Malagasy way of living in the pure nature including some visitors like frogs and lizards. We were there at the beginning of the rain season and were able to experience heavy rainfalls during the night, those sounds were remarkable! The restaurant offers highly qualitative and tasty dishes and the chef is trying to personalize the service wherever possible by collecting your lunch or dinner wishes beforehand so that you don’t have to wait too long for your meal. The price performance ratio is also fantastic. The pool gives you a gorgeous view on the ocean and beach, which invites you for long walks. Phillipe is offering lots of activities such as canoeing, mountain biking (free of charge) and excursions to e.g. Nosy Iranja, National Park or whale watching which are highly recommendable. The staff was very attentive and friendly with a high service level coming close to a real 5 star hotel service. Me myself working at known international hotel brands can evaluate this on a high level. The location of the resort and reaching it is so adventurous and impressive as well. Twice a week there is live entertainment with local bands and singers which allows you to take a dive into the local culture. All in all, we can truly recommend Philippe’s lovely resort and we will come back one day bringing friends and family as well to this little paradise. Wonderful relaxing place. Had two very nice bungalows. Wonderful garden and really positive staff. The private beach is nice and so are the diving.
