We stayed at “Golden Street” for two nights in Cholpon-Ata and were truly impressed. It’s a great location – the lake is very close and within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The hosts were wonderful – we felt like long-awaited family members. There’s a garden in the yard, and they invited us to pick ripe cherries and peaches. They constantly cared about how we were feeling, shared recommendations on what to visit, and always helped – even calling taxis for us. When we were leaving, they came to say goodbye and saw us off. The warmth and sincerity we experienced here will stay in our hearts. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

A wonderful house with two entrances and a separate kitchen (don't be misled by the 25 m2 area in the description - it's actually much more than that!). Garden with apricot trees (free apricots in July, more than you can eat). Close to a beach, but for the best beach in Cholpon-Ata you'll have to take a taxi. Friendly and welcoming hosts are ready to recommend anything in Cholpon-Ata and its surroundings. Last few days of my stay this property was already booked and I had to stay in another "pansionat", so I can compare. I can assure you that this option is a lot better than other 8+ rated properties.

Second time staying here with my chihuahua and we would both gladly return. The room was clean (not even any dust inside the wardrobe) and had everything we needed, including a cold mini-fridge, a desk, a good shower and good internet. The single bed was comfortable, although I would have preferred a double. The courtyard is green and nicely landscaped. The host, Svetlana, was hospitable and always available from the moment I made the booking until the end of my stay. When I asked her how to get to Cholpan Ata from Bishkek she connected me with a taxi driver. Even though I arrived at close to midnight without giving her much warning, she was waiting to check me in. The property is located in a quiet neighbourhood and is a short walk to a small bazaar and a grocery store. I walked to the lakeshore in about 10 minutes. Excellent budget option.

The guest house is located at Selam Beach, walking distance from the lake. Not easy to find without GPS - we are adding more info to the Google map to help others find it. The host provides sun umbrella and a beach blanket. Our children could independently go to the beach from the place or return back. There are several shops and places to eat. There is 24/7 taxi service. There is no solid road from the main road to the guest house - bumpy 5 minutes. The location is perfect for families with little kids.
