Its very conveniently located - few steps from the beach. And you feel like at home. Hosts are very nice - and really helpful - treating you as part of family - helped me organize my bus ticket, and made me a local dessert that I couldn’t find in any restaurant, and we spent evening chatting on a terrace. Staying at Marari Xavier was a lovely experience. Beautiful location and clean rooms. The food was absolutely amazing. Staying with the family was the best part of this stay, they are so wonderful and helped us with everything.

Sebastian was a fantastic host. So helpful with recommending and organising local drivers to and from the airport and to the ATM. Also Recommending local restaurants and tours in the area. Lunch was also available to order for a few euros, both breakfast and lunch served on the verandah!. Excellent food for breakfast and lunch. Beautiful quiet place to relax. Marari is a small fishing town.

It was a nice and clean, very well maintained property. Breakfast was excellent! The mixed fruitjuice suberbe, not to speak of the magnificant view. From our balcony also we had a good view on the activities of the fishermen, and nearby there is an excellent café where you can eat.

This place is amazing. Its a little own oasis within beutiful small houses and a pool that is just stunning. The staff are soooo friendly and advice you in the right direction with the chioces for daytrips and backwater sightseeing. Honestly, the personalle seem to have very fun at thier jobs which also reflects in thier service. Also the bathroom in the hut without seaview is amazing. Loved it all!

Lovely place right on the beach, we even had our own little garden. We had delicious home cooked breakfasts and dinners.

The location was amazing, the room was clean and comfortable, the view from the patio was to die for and the garden decor was top notch. Daniella & Jackson were kind, helpful, friendly and were always on hand to help and provide a memorable experience. The breakfast was really nice also :) Some people may be disappointed with the location as it is 10 minutes walk from some restaurants but I disagree for two reasons: 1. They can call Sarath, a friendly local rickshaw driver, to take you to some nice restaurants or other locations in no time. 2. It’s nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. You won’t be able to enjoy the soothing sound of the sea if you’re staying in the heart of the city right?
