United StatesWell this was a surprise for us. We had booked this lovely little place back in January for our March trip. Then we noticed it was not on Booking any longer so panic set in. During this the owner was not using Booking for some time. Finally got in touch with the owner and there was a double booking for the same place/dates. Scary, right? Nope, the owner gave us the big house for the same price as the smaller one bedroom which was extremely gracious. What a delight! The house is set high up on a cliff and there is another house or flat below where the pool is that they own as well. A long stairway takes you down to the beach (highly recommend going down to surf) but the house has a lovely garden and pool area that overlooks the ocean. A hot tub is there as well as a swing and hidden courtyard where you can dry clothes so quickly. The main part of the house is original and the master bedroom is massive. The kitchen is well stocked for anything you might need equipment wise for your stay. Two dining rooms (one in the original part and one in the addition) The addition sitting room and tv/activity rooms over look the ocean with a cozy fireplace for evenings. Damaris and her husband Pedro were beyond accommodating. With our broken Spanish, Google Translate and pointing we managed to communicate just fine. Always there to open the gate for the car or help us, they were a treasure! This spot whether you stay in the small house or larger ones is well worth the relaxation. Sounds of the ocean, views, quiet area and openness of the house, we are already looking for a longer stay next year. Owner was simply lovely along with her groundskeepers. You won't want to leave. We didn't want to go. Raved to my British family this is a gem hidden on the cliffs.
