Welcoming guests with an outdoor swimming pool, Ascott Waterplace Surabaya is located right in front of Pakuwon Mall which houses convention halls, department stores and various dining outlets. Great location for shopping as it was right across the road to a big mall with plenty of eateries around. Good apartment size and amenities.

Service was exceptional. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. Location also is fantastic with direct access to Lotte Mall. Facilities all looked clean and well maintained. Some hand sanitizer spilled in the elevator and a few minutes later when we took the same lift, it was already cleaned. We liked the layout of the 3 BR - a nice big dining table and a nested pair of coffee tables along with a sofa and a couple of armchairs. There's a bonus third bathroom near the washing area if the guests don't mind a squatting toilet and using a bidet spray as a hand shower, which is nice to shorten prep time in the mornings. The office nook is tucked in so you don't get any view but it also means no desk interfering when entertaining guests. The terrace had ample space.

It was more than I bargained for. The staff were tremendously polite and efficient - from check-in to the restaurant to check-out. Key was delivered to me while I had lunch, waiting for my room to be ready. The bed and pillows were very comfortable it was difficult to wake up the next morning. Breakfast spread was sufficient as I am not one for too many selections.
