The room is actually a mini apartment with a fantastic view of the surroundings. Cleanliness is over the top and the lodge is packed with all the amenities, even a charging adapter in case you forgot it back home like I did. Deirdre was very accommodating to our needs (we requested a microwave) and the self contained loft has everything we needed and more. The small jar of Christmas chocolates were a lovely addition to a well stocked kitchen. We even had our own Christmas tree! The view from The Loft overlooks the lake which was wonderful even in the rain!
