Booked for one night… and ended up coming back after a 2-day trip because we couldn’t resist! The place is spotless (above-average clean), beautifully designed, and the beds/pillows were so comfy we basically melted into them. The shampoo and shower gel smelled amazing — like stepping into a spa — and for a night, it honestly felt like living in a castle hidden in the woods - yes, expect some hidden plants here & there. The host was super easy to communicate with, and the staff were polite, fun, and very accommodating. Oh, and the café downstairs? Dangerously tasty. Already plotting our next “castle” getaway - after this, I don't think I'll stay somewhere else in Hanoi :)

The property is cozy, stylish, and very well maintained. The room was spotlessly clean with thoughtful details — from the comfortable bed to the warm color accents and modern design. The balcony view of the lake at sunset was simply breathtaking, making my stay even more memorable. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Both the receptionist and the security team were exceptionally kind, professional, and always willing to help. Communication was smooth and effortless, which made check-in and every interaction stress-free. I always felt welcomed and well taken care of. Daily housekeeping kept everything fresh and tidy, and it was clear how much care goes into maintaining the property at a high standard. Overall, this was the perfect balance of comfort, hospitality, and atmosphere. I would happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delightful stay.

Our room was clean and comfortable! Each unit has a washing machine on the balcony, which is wonderful! Enough basic dishes and cookware to make your own meals. We bought an inexpensive dish drainer, a few more cooking utensils, and a couple of extra dish towels as we stayed for 10 weeks. Close to Lotte Mall with a large supermarket in the basement. Also, a small WinnMart down the alley--a few steps out the door. Try Jewel Diner down the road. Several bus stops nearby. The city busses are an inexpensive way to get around. We found that Google Map was usually very accurate in routes and times, often better than the Hanoi Bus app. We are headed back to Hanoi for another month and will stay at Joy Apartment Tay Ho again!
