I loved the spacious rooms and how thoroughly clean they were, something that is very important to me when booking a stay. Same goes for the bathroom. Rooms were elegant without being overdone. Though the room was massive, the AC cooled exceptionally well and the WiFi was the fastest we found in the city. You get to choose out of a few options for breakfast and it is served to you downstairs, simple and satisfying. Learning about the history of the building adds to the wonder of it all, you can tell it’s a unique spot. It was more than a place to sleep, it was an experience.

Towels and bed linen are available in the aparthotel. This aparthotel is allergy-free and soundproof. Our host Guillermo was helpful from the get-go. He made sure we understood the fair rate for transportation, made calls for booking a boat to Leticia. Asked a carpenter to stop working - it was loud- when we arrived back to our room. We didn't make this request, he just did it. He allowed us to check out late with a very very small fee. Instructed the moto-taxi driver to help us with our bags at the port. So kind and joyful, always smiling.

We were very tired and looking forward to relaxing and having a nice shower and food. The man at the front desk (I’m really sorry I didn’t get his name) couldn’t have done more for us. There isn’t much in the area in terms of food but he rang a take away pizza for us and organised our order and let us know when it arrived. The shower was warm (a really pleasant surprise) and shampoo and soap were provided. The room itself was clean and comfortable with a smart tv for Netflix. Breakfast in the morning was served upstairs with a lovely review of the city. Breakfast was small but very tasty and the ladies preparing it were very friendly.

A recently renovated aparthotel situated in Iquitos, Mi Quinta Raíz Loft Apartments features an outdoor swimming pool. The aparthotel features a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. In one word: WOW We have been traveling in S. America for a while now. Must have stayed in dozens of hotels and motels. This one is probably my favorite. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and modern. The staff was both very helpful and professional. Thank you for an exceptional stay.
