We were very much in doubt about this place, due to the low ratings. However, the reality is that the hotel was hit badly by the December 2024 earthquake and they are currently rebuilding the place. We got one of the new rooms. Thus, everything is freshly painted and all furniture is new. Consequently, we can highly recommend it for a night or two if you need to be close to the airport. It is just a short walking distance.

The pool is great (and I am not a pool person :)). I left my bags for a couple of nights I was in Tanna, it was no problem. Fast WiFi. Great communal areas, two sitting areas and an outdoor kitchen. Each room has its own little kitchen area (fridge + sink) and bathroom. You get two towels and a soap. The dorm has lockers.

El Vanuatu MG Cocomo Resort ofrece alojamiento de estilo melanesio a 5 minutos en coche del centro de Port Vila y a 15 minutos en coche del aeropuerto de Port Vila. Excellent breakfast included. Awesome location and really amazing staff. They let us even leave our bag in storage when we went to another island. Lovely and very clean place, I would absolutely love to stay again.
