As the name indicates it has magnificent sunrises and also sunsets... Inbetween you will probably be on Safari drives 🙂. Dinner was good and tasty, the staff cheerful and helpful. The rooms and facilities are confortable. And the place, high above, with great views over lake Manyara just beatiful. A great alternative to Karatu on the way to Ngongoro or Serengati. Strongly reccomend !!!

Ava garden backpackers tiene vistas al jardín y está en Mto wa Mbu. Cuenta con restaurante, cocina compartida, bar, jardín, terraza y zona de juegos infantil. I made this the base for safaris. the host Datto is very responsive and super helpful. I stayed in the room with the double bed and attached bathroom and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, pancake, toast and coffee. They served me breakfast at 5:30am when I had to leave for safari at 5:45am. The ladies working there are also very helpful. Datto also helped me book safaris and get a bus to Arusha. He also lent me binoculars for the safari. It is also on the main road. So you won’t have to deal with the rough roads to other places. There are mosquitoes in the area but the room was mosquito free and the bed has a mosquito net. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a simple budget friendly place with an amazing host.

I stayed 2 nights at Jangwani River View Suites and had an amazing experience! Oscar, the manager, gave me excellent service and made me feel right at home. He also operates wonderful daily tours around Lake Manyara, which were a highlight of my trip. Comfortable stay, beautiful views, and outstanding hospitality — highly recommended!
