Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities. We stayed at the Annexet appartment and it was a fantastic stay. Very spacious, clean, with fully equipped kitchen. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety. The staff was helpful and polite. City center is within walking distance and bus stops are at convenient distance, too.

Situated in the heart of Umeå, Elite Hotel Mimer faces the Twin Towns Park and the main commercial pedestrian street. Guests have free WiFi along with free access to a sauna and fitness centre. The location was good, the room was beautiful, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Extremely quiet in the room, it felt like we were the only ones there. Breakfast was nice. We have stayed in a few different hotels in Umeå and this is by far our favourite.

U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river. Location is great, friendly staff, great breakfast, underground parking garage (you have to call a staff member to get the ticket and door-code)
