Had a wonderful experience staying at the RestSafari. The place is set up in a big area where one can rest comfortably, and looks out on the jungle, where many animals (mainly buffaloes, peacocks, elephants, varanes, foxes) pass by during the day/night. Owners (and staff) are taking good care and are very friendly & relaxed. Nice campfires and surprisingly few mosquitoes. Slept really well in the cabana (great experience!) in a nice, natural breeze, and my room had a nice viewing spot to lay down and look out over the jungle area. Possible to take safari’s from here. The food/drinks served were also real good. Happy to have stayed/rested here. For directions: many (if not all) busses from Ella/Wellawaya to Matara/Tissamaharama will pass close by the RestSafari. Get off at 22 Junction (bus drivers know). It will cost about Rs. 200-350, and from the Junction you can take a local bus, tuktuk or arrange something with the RestSafari.

Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. You can see somany peacocks around the hotel. Very mind relax. You dont feel any stress. Their meel also very good vilage type. Rooms comfortable excellent .like 5* hotel.

I really like them all, it was a super location, beautiful landscaping, camps were fantastic, food was delicious and the staff was so friendly.

Breezy Lake está en Tissamaharama y ofrece vistas a la piscina, piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y restaurante. El hotel era precioso, las habitaciones muy amplias y muy cómodas. Las camas tenían colchones muy cómodos. El baño era precioso, con naturaleza incorporada para dar la sensación de hotel rural muy chic. Lo que más nos gustó fue el personal. Eran super atentos, acogedores y amables. Para el día que hicimos el safari, que salimos a las 5am del hotel, nos prepararon una bolsa de desayuno, super rico. El desayuno del día siguiente estaba increíble también, nos prepararon de todo, y a nuestro gusto totalmente. Eran tan amables que nos encantaría volver pronto. Lo recomiendo mucho si vais a hacer un safari en Yala, o pasáis por la zona, os gustará mucho.

Wanni Villa Resort & Safari está en Tissamaharama, a 10 km de Tissa Wewa, y dispone de alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. Nice and very quiet location nearly Tissamaharama. room was very clean and staff was super. they help us to arranged yala national park tour. it was amazing and driver was super.

We stayed only one night in this place, but it was enough to fall in love with it. Nandan was incredibly kind and attentive to every detail of our stay, making us feel truly welcome. The food was delicious (dinner and breakfast), and the rooms were spotless and well-equipped. The stunning biodiversity and natural beauty of the area made the experience even more unforgettable. Absolutely loved it!!!

DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort está en Weerawila, a 7,4 km de Tissa Wewa, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, centro de fitness y jardín. The hotel is amazing. Hotel as a building seems to cooperate with nature, is surrounded by beautiful trees, lake, animals! Personel is really helpful, always smiling. We visited 4 hotels during our Sri Lanka Trip and that one was the best. If you consider safari in Yala just take that hotel and my recommendation is stay at least 4 nights. Belize me you will rest and relax like never before :) We had half board types, both breakfast and dinners were excellent!
