An Taigh Mor is deliberately located on the tip of a peninsula; even though other houses are not far, when you are in the room, living area, or upstairs reading nook, you feel like you are in your own world. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious! They were kind enough to make us salmon sandwiches to go when we had to depart early. We stayed at a variety of inns and B and Bs throughout the Hebrides, and this was our favorite. While new, it is beautifully and thoughtfully designed, spotlessly clean, and exceptionally comfortable. We hope to have an opportunity to stay again. Dinner at The Politician is an easy walk, and delicious. Reserve ahead. We also enjoyed a wonderful boat excursion to Mingulay with nearby Uist Sea Tours.
