Was beautifully dressed for Xmas. The room was fine - even had a fridge in it. It’s the little things that make it - lovely Xmas chocolate on pillow when I went in.

My girlfriend left her sunglasses and the staff were more than happy to help and post the sunglasses back to her. Even with no German, I had no issues at all with communication. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant, the food smelt amazing on arrival and there were quite a few people there looking like they were enjoying their food. There is petrol station next door which was convenient for getting snacks/drinks.

Small village, one needs a car to get around for food runs...
Small village, one needs a car to get around for food runs as there aren't any major supermarkets or bakeries. Busy main street close by, but windows are sound-proof. All within the Koenigsforst, a large forest, so air quality is good, and there is plenty of hiking around. Public bus transportation is close, and it is very reliable and runs pretty frequently. A few good restaurants for the weekend city slicker invasions.
