After 4 delightful nights we were left with glowing memories of Nagoya and Lamp Light Books hotel. The book theme that runs from the bookstore with rental books in the lobby, to the key cards, and signage is quirky and adds character. The location was superb for our purposes. It's right beside a quiet tree-filled park and 5 minutes walk from a subway station. That station is only one station away from Nagoya Station which is massive and where all the Shinkansen trains leave from. There are a couple of convenience stores and local Izakaya restaurants close by. Our room had a cute little balcony with sliding doors that allowed airflow. Everything was ultra clean and you could opt for full room cleaning or just getting new towels. The staff are kind, efficient, and welcoming. Highly recommend staying here and exploring underrated Nagoya, especially the SC Maglev and Toyota museums.

Modern contemporary artsy boutique hotel, once Japan’s first TV tower, now turned restaurants/hotel by FHAMS design studio Setting. Nagoya Central Park. 40 min from Chubu airport or 18 min from Nagoya airport Explore. Hotel location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood shops, burgeoning local food scene, music festivals and outdoor events. I only wish I got to stay one more night Rooms. Only 15 rooms, one of which is used for art exhibitions. I was in room 3. As I had an extremely stressful week so it was super healing to have this little mini escape @ the hotel. Amazing vibe, kind staff and service, Kano Morishita and the rest of the team were delivering service really @ the level of the Aman hotels. Taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel, but the staff always walked me to the taxi to make sure I got on the right one. Private sky deck access late at night and early morning via a hidden entrance, plenty of cool art work and installations including Yoshitomo Nara’s work. Food & drinks. Hotel has 3 restaurants and is very popular for special occasions, the night I was here there were two wedding parties. They are tons of food options near by and the hotel also helped book good restaurants Prices. $595 Rating. 5/5 definitely hope to revisit !

Boasting garden views, Minpaku Momotaro Bekkan offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 19 km from Oasis 21. The house was overall very clean and well-maintained. New facilities had been installed in the kitchen, bathroom, and restroom, making them easy to use and very comfortable. Lying in the hammock on the terrace was especially pleasant, with a gentle breeze that provided a perfect relaxation time. The surrounding area was quiet, and we enjoyed peaceful evening and morning. The host was also very kind, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth.
