Este albergue está ubicado en la granja Berunes, junto a la carretera de circunvalación y a 45 km de la localidad de Djúpivogur. We did the ring road while driving in Iceland and we booked seven places where we stayed. Out of these 7 places I have to say that Berunes was by far the best one. It was an amazing experience and the host is super friendly and helpful. But the reason why we liked Berunes the most was because it was a step back in time. The house where we stayed was built in the 1900s and the furniture is rustic but there are all the facilities needed. We are a family of four and we had two separate rooms and a private bathroom. Just next to the house there is a small church and also a restaurant. The restaurant was closed at the time of our visit, in April, but they will open it in summer. The landscape surrounding the hostel is also amazing. There is a lake in front of the house and the mountain at the back. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and spend some enjoyable time in the middle of nature.

El Blabjorg Resort se encuentra en la localidad pesquera de Borgarfjordur Eystri, a 71 km de Egilsstadir, y cuenta con restaurante y cafetería. Fue espectacular…. Las vistas los paisajes y los saunas una maravilla… estoy haciendo planes para volver pronto!

El Berjaya Hérað Hotel está situado en Egilsstadir, a 5 km del río Lagarfljot, y ofrece un bar con terraza y servicio de habitaciones las 24 horas. Outstandingly friendly staff, lots of space, very clean and modern. The big Windows were a big plus,, we were able to see the northern lights from our bed! The soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel also were good quality. Close to gas station and grocery store. The restaurant was also good, the reindeer ragout was fantastic!

Este aparthotel se encuentra junto al fiordo más oriental de Islandia, Neskaupstadur, y ofrece una decoración moderna de estilo escandinavo y un balcón con vistas panorámicas al fiordo. Everything was as in pictures and description. Very clean, nice and comfortable place to stay. Check-in & check-out was very smooth. Host was very proactive and gave timely/useful instructions. Recommended to stay here and for sure will stay again next time.
