The lady who owns the hotel is the manager, she is a smart and educated person and she is very generous as she made our stay very comfortable, and she went beyond that with her generosity to us when I wanted to ask for a taxi she said to me (I am going and I will take you on my way) and indeed she took us with her in her car to our destination. The location is ideal as its ony an hour from both Glaway and Dublin . Was so cosy and welcoming on arrival from soft lighting in the rooms to the solid fuel stove lit and lovely and warm . Brilliant host and Pauline thought of everything from breakfast to shampoos ect . Will definatly come back .

And a nice pool, steamroom and sauna to relax and feel warm Ease of check-in despite a lot of people checking in at the same time. Staff was very helpful and calm.

This luxurious AA 4-star hotel is a haven of peace and quiet, on the beautiful shores of Lough Ree, by Athlone Golf Course. The hotel is set in a beautiful location on Lough Ree with plenty of activities. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was delicious too. Would highly recommend.
