Castle Varagh Hotel & Bar has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Westmeath. The breakfast was excellent and met my expectations

Set within 3.6 km of Athlone Golf Club and 7.7 km of Athlone Castle in Athlone, Alverna House B&B offers accommodation with seating area. Drove down from Derry stayed here as it was close to GAA grounds that we had a game at. Owners where lovely and friendly. Nice wee friendly bar just two mins up the road, they had great facilities including darts board that we all had use off and not forgetting the 1st class breakfast! Unreal! Thank you very much for a great stay and making us feel so welcome.

Wineport Lodge features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Glasson. This 4-star hotel offers room service, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. We had an amazing night away. Celebrating my mams 60th. Service was exceptional very friendly and helpful. We will return

Boasting inner courtyard views, Mullingar town apartment 2 bedrooms offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 1.5 km from Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. The property was an incredibly well thought out and spacious 2 bedroom apartment. The Host Edel, was amazing - she went above and beyond helping us with check in and home delivery of food and beverages - you don't get hospitality like this everywhere, she is fantastic !

Offering a garden and garden view, Pauleens Peaceful Place is situated in Rochfortbridge, 16 km from Mullingar Greyhound Stadium and 16 km from Mullingar Arts Centre. The location is ideal as its ony an hour from both Glaway and Dublin . Was so cosy and welcoming on arrival from soft lighting in the rooms to the solid fuel stove lit and lovely and warm . Brilliant host and Pauline thought of everything from breakfast to shampoos ect . Will definatly come back .

Surrounded by beautiful gardens, Shamrock Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel located in the very centre of Ireland, just 5 minutes’ walk from the restaurants, bars, and nightlife of Athlone town... After a long day of traveling, it was wonderful to stop and stay the night here. Our room was well kept and the hotel was only a short walk to the town center.

On the banks of the River Shannon, Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone is situated in the town centre, overlooking the historic Athlone Castle. The hotel has a modern leisure club and stylish restaurant. Very comfortable bed, spacious, fresh, clean room with bathtub and a shower. Staff were very attentive and helpful.

In the heart of Mullingar town, this hotel with a bar and restaurant offers a home-from-home environment. Local attractions include Belvedere House and Gardens, golf and Mullingar Greyhound Stadium. Great Irish breakfast, comfortable rooms. The coffee in particular was excellent!!! Please share what beans you use :) made for a great location as we were headed to a wedding
