If you asked what could be improved, I honestly don't know (actually, maybe more games in the common area). But that's it! The bed was wonderful, with plenty of space and privacy, the bathrooms and showers were always clean and functioning well, and very well thought too with space to put your things so that they stay dry. The kitchen was amazing to have, and the system is well put in place. I felt like nothing was missing, and I was more comfortable than ever. The staff was friendly and always open to help when needed or answer a tourist-y question.

El Hotel Cuevas, situado en la pintoresca localidad de Santillana del Mar, ocupa un edificio rústico con una decoración moderna y alberga una piscina exterior de temporada con terraza amueblada. This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is very attentive and the rooms are comfortable, very clean and quiet. The pool and terrace looked lovely but it was chilly and we did not use them. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of staying at Apartamentos Santander while walking the Camino del Norte. I could not have asked for more during my two night stay. Communication with the host was excellent and she was incredibly helpful as I needed to arrange delivery of my luggage in advance of my arrival. Not only is the apartment very well located, it is also impeccably designed. But more importantly, it is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and then some. I immediately felt like home and would undoubtedly stay here again if I were to return to Santander!
