Boasting free bikes and views of inner courtyard, Pingyao Hu lu wa Home Inn is a guest house set in a historic building in Pingyao, 300 metres from Qingxu Guan. We loved our host, soooooo accommodating and friendly. The house itself was just beautiful and had a wonderful ambiance. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The hotel is located in a very representative part of the city, with the river boulevard, a large shopping gallery, a park, and a plaza with museums and a concert hall all nearby. Taiyuan does not have good public transport, so taxis are the only viable option from the railway stations. The room is spacious and offers the quality one would expect at this price and star level. The staff speak passable English – something that is, unfortunately, becoming increasingly rare in China these days.

Like living in ancient times, but with modern facilities. Lovely architecture and very thoughtful interior design. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Ideal location. Nice touch of providing fruits and snacks in the room and unique takeaway items.

Splendid included breakfast and very the staff are keen to give directions to tourist sites with their limited English but huge hearts.
