It is a charming place to stay in a beautiful area. The room was very large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were hearty. The wellness and play areas are well appointed. And the owners are so kind. We left talking about when we can go back!

Located in Semmering, 22 km from Rax, Steirer-Apartment Semmering has ski-to-door access, parking on-site and rooms with free WiFi access. With garden views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Upon arrival, the friendly staff welcomed us in a very quick manner, which was much appreciated. Cutlery, towels and washing necessities were also provided. The overall vibe was very peaceful and homely, a perfect reflection of the picturesque surroundings. I should also point out the nearby BILLA, which was a massive plus and saved us in the morning. Ski slopes are very close, and the nearby railway is like a dream come true for rail fans, though the astonishing scenery makes it a pleasure for hikers as well.

The service was excellent, the staff really looked after our group, going above and beyond. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Boasting free bikes and views of garden, Zum Fally - Landgasthof is a guest house set in a historic building in Kirchberg am Wechsel, 36 km from Schneeberg. The accommodation has a sauna. Very beautiful gasthaus, located in the hills (it was especially pretty because of snow), everywhere around is the forest. Staff was very nice, room very cute. Breakfast was even more amazing, with sweet and savory food (they also asked us if we want eggs and ham, boiled eggs etc.). The thing I liked the most was the peace. We came back from dinner and parked our car, when we got out, there was complete silence. You don't get that everywhere. There is also infrared sauna on the first floor, free of charge, but we didn't realise it until the morning, so we didn't have a chance to use it.
