I was contacted before I arrived with details on how best to find the guesthouse on arrival. I was arriving early but was available for me to self check in then go out to explore. Was given easy directions to find the castle which didn't take long. Amazing communication. I got a taxi up from the bus station which wasn't very expensive . It was very hot so was glad if the taxi. 45 minutes to walk up the hill from bus station.Beautiful views from the communal sitting area, private balcony was great for having a coffee on. Breakfast was at the time I requested and had plenty to eat. I was going back to Tirana and the host kindly packed up some of my breakfast for my journey.

What made our stay even more memorable was the hospitality of the owner. He was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even gave us a free upgrade to a larger room. He also provided us with great tips on what to see in Gjirokaster and how to get around the city. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and had a great variety of options. The food was fresh and served with care, making for a great start to our day. Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Musee to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Gjirokaster. The location, friendly owner, and amazing breakfast all contribute to an unforgettable experience.

Sweet Dreams Apartment is a recently renovated apartment in Përmet, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace. Very kind and flexible host, we arrived very late and he kindly waited for us. Beautifully renovated, elegant, even better than in the pictures, very cozy apartment, with huge and comfy beds, suitable for even 6-7 people. There is a washing machine also. Breakfast was very delicious, we really really liked it, typical plate with home made honey.

This property is too good . From romantic lighting in the eve to the quiet and lovely view of the mountains, this place is best for groups and couples. The host Ola was the loveliest. She provided us best in place service from good food and clean rooms. She was always there to help us in all ways. Once again a worth visit place at such an affordable price

Boasting mountain views, Villa Shuaipaj features accommodation with patio, around 45 km from Zaravina lake. Featuring a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. As with every guest house stay in Albania, you come for the views but you stay for the albanian hospitality. As a couple we enjoyed a lovely double room on a beautifully crafted hard wood bed in a calm of the beaten path location. We enjoyed our night there, entertaint by the host, who, dispite his knowledge of English, was able to convey his love for his country and culture and the people who visited his house. We absolutely loved our stay there and we were sadend we couldn't stay a another night due to our busy traveling schedule. When we will visit Albania again, we will surely pass by thia lovely home again!
