Boasting a garden and views of garden, Clockwise GuestRooms is a recently renovated guest house situated in Gjirokastër, 43 km from Zaravina lake. Even though we only stayed for one night, it was hard to no notice the good service! Joana was helpful from the start with a good guide to get ourself to the hotel and also flexible with check-in. When we arrived she recommended a great family owned restaurant at a wineyard close 15 min car drive from the guesthouse. She also had a friend that could drive us there so we could enjoy wine there. So happy she recommended that one - it was amazing food and atmosphere! The hotel has a beautiful view, great location to get to the bazaar. The breakfast was amazing and just all in all a great visit! Room was big and with a balcony also showing the stunning view.

We were personally greeted by the hosts upon arrival at the hotel. They even offered us drinks and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. The room was well-appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included, and it was delicious – seasonal fruits, eggs, and local foods. You’re also greeted by adorable cats! 10/10 would recommend.

Kerculla Resort is located at the top of Gjirokastra, 16 km from Antigona, 52 km from Saranda, 65 km from Butrinti and 36 km from Syri i Kaltër ( Blue Eye ) ! All was great. The staff very nice and helpful. Restaurant, excellent! Facilities, perfect! Amazing view on the old town and castle 🤩
