Hiromi is a very kind and very passionate host who emphasizes on every detail. We stayed in the traditional Japense room and had the best experience during our trip through Japan so far. The location is very close to the morning market and the old town.

The owner was super responsive. I have absolutely zero complaints about the accommodation. Spacious, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect for walks into the old town, Miyagawa morning market, Takayama Jinya etc. The owner also operates a coin laundry just next door. With state of the art washing machines, it was super convenient.

Hip, centrally located hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and tidy, stocked with everything one could need for a couple days in Takayama. The hotel is right around the corner from the station, and directly opposite the main road leading into the beautifully historical town. Breakfast was great with at least 3 different options. Our room had a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding Takayama.
