Beautiful tranquil accommodation in the countryside with tastefully decorated rooms with all amenities plus lovely views. Two wonderful restaurants with different styles of menu. The food in both was outstanding with well accompanied wines. The service was exceptional with attentive staff. The cooking lesson was so much fun. I would highly recommend it, plus you get to eat the food! We used the bikes available on the premises and went riding on the Food Valley Bike loop for about 30 KM in total. Lovely scenery and eateries along the path. A truly wonderful experience, and we would love to return. We enjoyed it so much.

I loved the minimalist refurbishment of the old building. The location was exquisite. It was incredibly clean and coffee and tea could be make in the room. Nice glass walled lift to let the light through so not dingy to go into. A surprise that 'breakfast not included' meant no breakfast available. I like eating a full breakfast but I appreciate the reduction in cost of no frills. It was a little disconcerting arriving after 6 pm and figuring out that 'no reception' meant no personnel available. But Jessica was just fine at answering emails - I had got up at 04.30 to get there and it was 38 degrees. It would be useful to have a taxi number to call. Initially I could not see the numbers on the white key pad because of the sun hitting it. So didn't realise where one keyed in the numbers but the waiter from the bar next door helped me.

We really enjoyed our stay here, especially the quiet, rural setting and the lovely breakfasts we enjoyed each morning provided by Simona. She also gave us lots of good ideas for attractions and restaurants in the area. Ricardo gave us a really enjoyable tour of his bee keeping and garden/orchard area. As we are from an agricultural area in BC, Canada, we found the tour very interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

Set in the hills of Piacenza, La Rondanina offers free bike rental and an à la carte restaurant. This farm house produces its own wine and vegetables.

I loved the quiet, peaceful grounds. There are donkeys, chickens, sheep and even a peacock nearby. It was a great treat for my 3-year old! We booked a half-board and the dinner was exceptional. Delicious food! Their wine is also very scrumptious!

Absolutely Exceptional Stay at Cremona Inn Apartments! Our experience at Cremona Inn Apartments was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and effortless. Fabulous apartment. Extremely clean and well appointed. Lovely high ceilings giving a sense of lots of light and space. Communications we're prompt and very good. Location is superb. The main piazza is a 5min walk with lots of places to see, eat and drink.

Cantina Visconti - Agriturismo is a recently renovated farm stay in Vigoleno, where guests can make the most of its garden and terrace.

Wonderful host, Valentina. She went out of her way to mske our stay a comfortable one. She showed us around the vineyard, which added much to our appeciation of this area. The wines and food were magnificent. The room is clean, comfortable and convenient.
