I liked that everything was very well thought out, you could tell that it was a passion project for the owners. The way that the cabins were laid out wasn’t to maximise revenue but to give each their privacy and maximise the views. Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and the nearby village had shops open late with nearly anything you could want. Can’t emphasise enough that this place was a cut above anything else. Just has to be experienced. It’s refreshing to pay for something and get more than you expected.

Glendalough International Youth Hostel is set in beautiful Glendalough, surrounded by its pretty countryside and at the foot of Camaderry Mountain.

Perfect location for starting hikes, helpful staff, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bunk beds. It was great that I could keep my electric bike inside and charge it. I will definitely come back :)

Location was amazing to kick off our 16 night island road trip... so amazing to wake up and have Glendalough to yourself to wander round before the days sightseers arrive. Great facilities... Easy parking, good breakfast, we had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant was yum.

Beautiful premesis. Very Cosy and quaint. Extensive grounds with lots to do. Rooms were massive - great traditional style decor. Excellent facilities - pool and sauna were great. Fluffy towels and bathrobe provided - sadly, the bathrobes were one size and didn't really fit us. Delicious breakfast - great staff.
