We had a great time at Clockwise in Gjirokastër. Joanna was the friendliest host we had on our whole three week trip to Albania. She was there whenever we had a question, asked us what we wanted for breakfast (which was varied and copious) and gave us great tips where to visit. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. You can even log on to your own Netflix account via the TV (if you remember your login credentials from home). The location is perfect. Right in the center, so everything is in walking distance. Joanna supplied perfect directions to her place as the road that leads to it was new and not yet on Google Maps. Big recommendation, we would come again any day.

Everything. I love the place, the.people super friendly in the hotel. Breakfast is super good and a lot. We had dinner and also super nice, beautiful view. They took her of every single detail. I fully recomend the hotel.

We stayed for one day and had a wonderful experience. The host and her family were extremely kind and welcoming. She greeted us with a drink and cheese upon our arrival, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had everything we needed and more. A place in harmony. with naural noises from cows and birds. This is the place you want to visit to be a part of ordinary albanian life in the countryside. There is no restaurant, but this lovely couple open their kitchen if you will fix your own meal or grill outside. The breakfast-you wont miss it……. We loved this place. It’s in the center with a wonderful view. Rooms are clean and spacious with AC. The breakfasts are excellent!! Big variety and you will try local specialities. The host family is very nice!

We had a lovely breakfast in the garden with mountain herb tea, an egg and other vegetables from their garden. The young girls were extremely helpful. A very reasonable price for breakfast and accommodation.
