The hotel is excellent, like all Leonardo's around the world. This one in particular, I have practically no complaints. Great breakfast, great staff - I had to travel to Salzburg very early in the morning and I asked if I could bring the breakfast on the trip. The team prepared a lunch box for me, with several food and drink options. The staff deserved an extra star.

Most important for us was the location, right next to the main station for an early start. Five minutes to the platform, and at the quieter end of the station. But everything else was good too. Would definitely use again.

Previously the centre of the Hapsburg Empire, Vienna is the current centre of Austria’s culture, economics, and politics. Visitors may think they are in a museum as they walk through the historic first district, but Vienna also has a youthful and dynamic side with lots to offer.
St Stephens Cathedral in the Inner-City is surrounded by the Ring Road, with grandiose buildings like City Hall, the Austrian Parliament, the State Opera House and the Burgtheater. Enjoy the city where amazing musicians like Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, and Mahler once lived. Visitors can wander around beautiful park grounds in the Wiener Prater and Schonbrunn Palace provides imperial and extravagant grounds to stroll through. After exploring, eat with the locals by enjoying famous sandwiches at Trzesniewski, a Wiener Schnitzel at Cafe Central or taste traditional wines at the city’s many Viennese pubs.
Vienna International Airport is the doorway to the heart of Vienna. Booking.com has luxury hotels, charming bed & breakfasts and modern apartments to meet any accommodation needs for your stay in Austria’s capital.
Vienna is a lovely destination in springtime. We especially enjoyed the museums we were able to visit, the ease of getting around town, whether on foot or with the excellent public transportation system. Other highlights were the Vivaldi concert at Karlskirche, and a long walk along the north-east side of the Old Danube. We had a very nice dinner at an Italian restaurant called Vasco.

Vienna was amazing, there is so much to do and the food is incredible. I found it a very walkable city and didn't actually use public transport much at all. Some things like the Opera house tours were sold out so I would be more organised at booking tickets in advance next time. its a great base for day trips - the train station is massive but really well organised much better than UK trains lol

Vienna is a wonderful city, crossing point between East and West for centuries, being the capital of Austrio-Hungar empire, have all kind of resources, places for every traveller.
From pastry and kitchen, to clothes and design, architecture and art.
Art is for me the most rich experience: for the many musea I could only visit Hoog Belvedere, Albertina and Kunstforum wien (property of Austria Bank) were there was a retrospective of great artist Roberto Matta, the most complete in decades in Europe.
A very beautiful place is the palais Schonbrunn, knew as residence of Sissy, quite expensive admission but surrounded with a magnificent and gigantic garden, free access, with hill and fountains, you can made a tour in wiener horse coach.
I recommend to buy 1,2,3 of week tickets for public transport: Metro, tramway, train and bus, in de central zone : attention: you get a card that NOT NEED to be validated, you have to have with you when requested in the very rare occasion of inspection, what make very easy to make the frequent change of lines.
Apart of chic and expensive classical restaurant, there are plenty place to eat, from hotdogs on street to some food hall in the big markt, good and cheap.
Enjoy your stay!

The city is very clean and the architecture is beautiful. Gardens of the Schönbrunn are exceptional. Great food in the restaurants. The boat ride on the Danube was disappointing - 30 minutes in a water lock. The staff smoked cigarettes on the deck next to the tourists.

We wish we could have stayed longer!
We wish we could have stayed longer! Vienna is a beautiful SAFE city with so much to see and do. The locals we encountered were very nice. In just 3 days we were able to see a classical concert in the evening, take in the Sisi Museum (order tickets online), enjoy the sunshine and lounge around on the palace lawn, eat at some good restaurants, and of course, enjoy coffee and apple strudel at Cafe Sperl. The one big surprise was that many restaurants took CASH only which forced us to find an ATM after business hours. The bank ATM we tried didn’t take foreign (US) debit cards, so we were forced to use the Euronet one in the Nauschmarket…something we try to avoid because of the fees. 😩
Another surprise…in a good way…was walking into St. Stephen’s Cathedral and being able to enjoy high mass with full orchestra, pipe organ and choir midday on a Thursday. At first, we entered with all the other tourists and thought the music was just a rehearsal until we saw on the monitors that the cardinal was celebrating mass. We then worked our way to the left side where we were able to enter by indicating that we wanted to attend mass and were allowed through. Luckily we had been to Europe before and knew that tradition.
The hotel is very well located, close to Prater and Praterstern, from where you have good connections to the airport and city center.
The staff members are polite, well trained and helpful. Breakfast looks great, even if I didn't have it I would advise to take it
Very clean rooms and bathrooms/toilet. Rooms were heated very pleasantly, so it is so nice to relax in the evening. Bed is very comfortable. Refrigerator and water heater are very big plusses. Thank you for your help and for a wonderful stay in beautiful Vienna! ❤️
what a fantastic place this is! in the city centre of Vienna in walkable distance of some great sights and close to the main central station that has a direct connection to the airport - almost don’t want to praise this too much and keep as a secret to myself but that wouldn’t be fair to the team of grätzlhotel, as they were fantastic. a lovingly chosen and contemporary design of the room made us feel right at home and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation in Vienna!
Great location with easy access to the city center and airport transfer options; shining clean rooms, modern minimalistic design (love it!), efficient organization of room space with lots of storage, large but cozy lobby to chill with a cup of coffee and cake, kitchen in the lobby if you want to cook your own meals (which I did), super friendly, helpful staff, good WiFi, pleasant music streaming from the radio and much more. 100% recommended. If I go back to Vienna, I'll stay at the same hotel.
The Niu Franz was a great experience for us, everything being on top - a very friendly staff, tasty breakfast, a beautiful and clean room, all cozy and a very interesting building in terms of decorations and artistic concept.
Not to forget the great location, easy access from the airport by train (S7) and with good conection to the city centre by tram (the station right in front of the hotel).
Definitely the number #1 option for out next trip to Vienna. Cannot wait to be back.
Great place to stay in Vienna! The hotel is modern, extremely clean, quiet despite being close to the railway station. The room had everything that’s needed for a pleasant stay. The location is excellent - just a few minutes walking distance to the railway station and the main Underground line leading to the city center, and approx. 15-20 minutes walking distance to Belvedere. The area is nice as well, however, a slight minus there isn’t a supermarket anywhere nearby.
Exceptional hotel in the city center of Vienna. The location is just amazing and the hotel is very elegant. When we arrived, without asking, we got an upgraded room free of charge. The room was very bright, spacious and charming. Plus, the view from the window is amazing and despite being in the city center it's very quiet. The hotel also offers breakfast for 25 EUR/person per day, which we didn't opt for. Nevertheless, it's an amazing place and it's really worth it.
Excellent location to explore Vienna! Right in the city centre so everything is walking distance. Rooms are basic but clean and the beds are very comfortable. Perfect if you just need a base and somewhere to sleep whilst you explore the city!
The staff are very accommodating and on hand to help. You can store your luggage at the hotel after checking out so you can explore the city for the day before going to the airport. We would stay here again.
Spacious rooms that were clean. The bathroom was large and immaculate. The breakfast was wonderful with a huge array of options. The location is right next to Schönbrunn Palace which was nice. The city centre was a few stops away on the train but this was no issue as there was metro direct line literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The overall feel of the hotel was old-style grandeur which was a perfect stay for Vienna.
Perfect value for money. Easy to reach by public transport, however, a little bit outside of the city centre. Was perfect for what we were looking for though (an accomodation close to where the Vienna Marathon starts).
FYI: its not a hotel with a regular reception where you could drop off your bag at the reception.
Something did not work for us with the key handover and staff was very helpful to solve the problem.
We arrived in Vienna when it was snowing heavily, so it was great to have a nice, warm, big hotel room for all three of us. The breakfast is good, and staff are friendly and helpful, including in arranging airport transfers. There is a tram station about 100-200m away from the hotel, but traveling to the city centre takes about 15-20 minutes, and tram lines often break down, so plan your travel accordingly.
Stayed 2 days in Vienna and the hotel was perfect for us. Comfortable and almost 15 min walking to the city center. The rooms are quiet and there is no disturbance, and the air conditioning was cool and excellent. The staff were smiling and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and flexible. The rooms are not large but adequate and this is the case with most hotels in Europe.
Great hotel. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was great - everything was fresh and well made with a lot of vegetarian options. The hotel is close to the central train station, so it is really easy and fast to reach the airport. Public transportation in Vienna is amazing, and it took us 10 minutes to get to the city centre. I would highly recommend this hotel
Excellent location, close to the city center and with plenty restaurants nearby. Good connection with the airport, the metro station being in front of the hotel. I loved the expresso machine in the room. The windows not overlooking the main street, it was very quiet at night. The hotel employees are very kind. I will choose this hotel for future travels in Vienna.
The Harmonie Vienna was superb! Breakfast had a lot of options for everyone, location was convenient just right outside the city centre (Innere Stadt) and the room was spacious with extremely good beds. The hotel even offered free tea and cakes in the afternoons which was a nice surprise. Special mention to Stefan - thank you for the very good customer service!
Very comfortable and clean room in a location not far from the city center (walkable - 15 mins) with good access to public transportation. They provided an excellent breakfast, including sparkling wine for Mimosas.
I'd be happy to return to this hotel on a future visit to Vienna.
A very nice receptionist Lady explained not clear rules on parking fees in Vienna. Apart from that, the hotel provides its own parking space for additional fees. Very good breakfest. Nice location in a walking distance to the city centre, that is also easily approachable by bus.
Wonderful location within walking distance of the main city centre. There is an underground station nearby. The hotel is basic and no frills, and good value for central Vienna. They stored our luggage for a few hours on the day of check out.
The hotel is close to the city centre, only 4 stops by metro, it was clean, warm, they changed the towels every day, we let our backpacks at the hotel after the checkout free of charge. It's a good option to stay for 3 days in Vienna
Great location withing walking distance of both the city centre and Vienna Central train station
Clean and spacious room that was prepared even before check in!
Super kind receptionists able to speak many languages
Good value hotel
The location is good: not far from the metro station, between Vienna's historical city center and the new business district;
The price is reasonable given the average price of hotel rooms in Vienna.
